- Job Hazard Checklists &
Analysis Tools
The purpose of the Job Hazard Analysis
is to identify hazards associated with a job type or with a particular
task, and to establish
measures to eliminate or reduce the hazards associated with the job type
or task.
At Sokudo, there are two types of Job
Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- To determine hazards associated with
a particular job type (such as FSE, Office Worker, Warehouse Worker,
Etc.).
- A generic JHA should be completed
for each Job Type at Sokudo. These JHA's should then be posted on the
SokudoWeb for all to use.
- This project will be managed by
the Sokudo Safety Committee. During this project, Sokudo managers will
be interviewed by Committee members to obtain the information
necessary to develop these JHA's.
- To determine hazards associated with
a particular task or procedure.
- Conducting and documenting the JHA
for tasks that their employees perform is the responsibility of each
Sokudo Manager. The Tools below are provided to assist the Manager in
conducting a JHA.
